Fiduciary
As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Spark Wealth Advisors is held to the fiduciary standard, which legally and ethically requires that we act in your best interest as it relates to any advice or recommendations. It's the way it should be.
Fee-Only
We do not accept commissions, referral fees, or kickbacks from any third-party companies, ensuring that investment recommendations are in your best interest, not ours. The only way we earn money is the fees charged for our services which represent a % of assets we manage.
Independent
Spark is not affiliated with any banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies or other large corporations. As an independent firm, we are not incentivized to sell any proprietary investments, because we have none. This further ensures that our business is designed with you in mind.
Virtual
We meet with you virtually by Zoom or phone to get all of our work done together efficiently. Modern financial technology gives you easy access to your financial planning documents and tasks to be completed through a secure online portal.

A bit about me
I started my career in financial services in 2008 (great timing, right?) and have held various positions in the industry, from delivering personalized financial advice, to trading, to compliance. I learned quickly that my favorite was working with everyday people, where I can make a true impact in their financial lives.
However, working for a company always meant some sort of sales goal that made clients seem like just another number, which I didn't jive with. I do my best work when I truly get to know what makes people tick, the human side of financial planning, not just the numbers.
So, I started Spark to focus less on the bottom line, and more on You.

A bit about me
I spent the first 7 years of my career working as an advisor for one of the largest wealth management firms in the country. During my time there, I worked with thousands of people from all walks of life, and learned a ton about common financial concerns and challenges. While I enjoyed helping a large number of people plan for retirement and achieve other financial goals, I knew my skillset would be best focused on a smaller, select number of people.
At Spark, I can provide white-glove service by limiting the number of people I work with, while giving better financial advice and forming more meaningful relationships along the way.

Get Organized
After deciding to work together, we will gather all relevant financial and family information through our secure online portal. We'll have a 60-90min Zoom meeting to review it all together as well as define goals and expectations. Here is where we will get to know more about your values and what is most important to you beyond your finances.
Plan Presentation
This is the fun part! After a few weeks behind the scenes, we will meet to present our recommendations with an easy-to-understand, 1-page financial plan. It will include detailed action items and time frames to achieve your goals. We'll help open investment accounts with our custodian and implement your investment strategy.
Progress & Updates
We will meet every Spring and Fall to review your progress and adjust your plan based on any life events or changes. Between our meetings, we monitor and rebalance your investments as needed to keep you on track.
